Overnight on Wall Street, the three main US stock market indices — the S&P 500, the Dow Jones and the Nasdaq Composite — finished a choppy session mixed, still pressured by worries about US lawmakers opposed to a deal to raise the $31.4 trillion debt ceiling but supported by a surge in Nvidia shares that briefly lifted the chipmaker into the rare club of companies valued at $1 trillion.
Back home, official quarterly data on GDP in India is due at 5:30 pm.
